COX TRACER^® products are most typically used in research, process monitoring, QC, HACCP, warehouse monitoring and in laboratory and environmental studies. They are available for both humidity and temperature monitoring. For temperature monitoring, COX TRACER^® loggers are available with an internal temperature sensor or a combination of internal and/or external temperature sensor(s), which plug into the the body of the logger and have stainless steel probe(s) on the end of the cable(s). COX TRACER^® also comes in a combined temperature and humidity model.

Downloading of the data is simple, the logger is snapped into the interface "cradle" which is attached to your computer's serial port. Data is transferred to the computer and stored in a file so that at any time, past data can be printed or presented in graphical or tabular format. With a single keystroke, the COX TRACER^® can be re-set for another cycle of monitoring. COX TRACER^® loggers are available in configurations which allow for 2,000, 16,000 data readings. Reading intervals can be set by the user using software commands. By changing reading intervals, the COX TRACER^® can be set to run from only a day to over a year, depending upon the selected interval between readings. For example, a reading taken every hour with a COX TRACER^® having 2,000 data reading capacity will result in a total of 83 days of continuous monitoring.

No Wires - No Installation Cost

Many industrial products which can be used to monitor humidity are available. Most of these products consist of "humidity transmitters" which are capable of sending humidity information over a wire to a readout device or to a computer terminal where information is stored. This type of application is appropriate for process control, but is needlessly expensive for applications where only monitoring of temperature and humidity are required.

Designed for Convenience and Ease of Record Keeping

Products which are typically used in monitoring applications either work as analog devices which create a trace on a paper chart (such as cylindrical or disk charts) or are digital devices which print results on a paper "adding machine" tape. These devices do not lend themselves to the archiving of data and are difficult--if not impossible--to use in unattended monitoring situations.
